Ebun Olatoye Feludu

Ebun Olatoye Feludu runs Jam the Coconut Food Company which is a family legacy that creates super food and beaty solutions from the world’s most famous super food – the coconut. Her company is “committed to building the biggest coconut brand in Africa for Africans.”

Her premium coconut brand products range from oral care activated coconut charcoal, breakfast cereals – coconut granola, snack – coconut cinnamon balls, luxurious body oils – coconut elixir, scrubs and oil balms to name but a few. At the centre of her operations is her army of coconut amazons who live in the rural coastal communities where her factories are located. These formidable women make up 80% of her workforce and their work accounts for 80% of household income and with the money they earn working at her factory, they are able to support their families and educate their children. Achievements:

1. 2020 – Ebun was announced as President of the Nigeria-India Bilateral Business Council. Through her appointment she has been able to establish connections between women in business in Nigeria and India. 2. 2019 – Ebun led the largest delegation of women to the annual Women Economic Forum (WEF) conference in New Delhi. In the same year, she was appointed as the inaugural Nigeria Chairperson for ALL Ladies League in Nigeria which is the auspices of the WEF. 3. 2017 – Ebun was appointed as a rep for the Women Economic Forum (WEF) in Nigeria. 4. 2008: Ebun made an epic trans Saharan road trip from Lagos to London, through the west coast and the Saharan desert. She has remained committed to channelling enterprise to build the Africa of her dreams, starting with Nigeria. Ebun has supported and benefitted immensely from these international women’s groups. She is devoted to developing the coconut value chain as well as continue to contribute to the development of women in Africa who form the backbone of the coconut industry.

  • Funke Roberts-Quadri (a.k.a the Skin Fairy)

    Funke Roberts-Quadri (a.k.a the Skin Fairy), a licensed aesthetician, is the founder of Peaches "n" Cream Spa in Surulere Lagos, Ibile Ageless Skin Essentials a range of skincare products and the Ageless Glowing Skin Hub on Facebook, a community with nearly 15,000 members.

    She is passionate about helping women gain self confidence, become bold, prioritize SELF-LOVE and add to their self esteem by helping them achieve youthful glowing skin, more especially as they grow older. A graduate of Mass Communication from The Bernard. M. Baruch College in New York, N.Y and an alumnus of The Enterprise Development Centre of The Pan African University, Ajah Lagos, Funke has completed over eight courses at the International Dermal Institute in New York. Her beauty career started from Long Island Beauty School, Brooklyn N.Y in August 1992 and she holds a New York State beauty license. A well seasoned industry expert, Funke makes sure she goes for trainings and attends at least one international exhibition annually.

    Grace Ogunjobi

    Grace Ogunjobi is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) with over 25years experience of working in the finance sector in the United Kingdom

    Grace is the Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Zebaj Recycling Limited, a plastic recycling manufacturing business in Lagos Nigeria. Her company produces plastic pellets from scrap household plastic products such as buckets, bowls, chairs etc. Zebaj Recycling is positioned to improve local circular economy, create jobs by employing local youths and women as well as serving as conduit to plastic manufacturing companies achieving their corporate social responsibility (CSR) of eliminating single use of plastic packaging and household materials. Grace is married with 3 adult children. She is a church marriage counsellor and fellow of the African Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative (AWEC).

    Naomi Kokuro is a sales and marketing trainer, social media marketing strategist and the founder of EMB Ahenfie.

    Naomi is popularly known as Maame Kaya and is also a mother, Rotarian, global goodwill ambassador, YALI RLC west African Fellow and listed among the 100 meaningful SDGs start-ups in the world. She has over 10 years experience in Marketing with focus in Social media marketing. She holds an HND and a Degree and Marketing and currently doing her MBA in Marketing.

    Juliet N Kasilita is a highly determined, self-driven, tenacious leader and Trainer with a passion to help others transform and live better lives and continually raise the bar higher in everything she does. As an advocate for personal growth and development she finds pleasure in being a problem solver, encourager and Motivator for Excellence

    She holds vast experience in managing Business expectations and providing excellent Service delivery built over 16 years professional experience in effective IT Management, Leadership, operations, Strategic planning in the Banking sector, the Microfinance and Telecom Industry. While serving at Barclays Bank Uganda LTD, Huawei Technologies (MTN - IT Shared services), She developed expert skills in working with diverse cultures that made me appreciate the uniqueness and capability in every person. She has been conducted and supported several research programs in Microfinance, Banking and IT Innovations as tools of poverty alleviation.

    Juliet holds a Master of Arts from Makerere University Kampala (MA –SSPM), Undergraduate degree in Social sciences (MUK) and several certifications/ Awards in Information Technology, Leadership, Project Management, Entrepreneurship and Business development. Additionally, she is a certified Bank of Uganda Financial Literacy Trainer using my mentoring skills and training expertise in running Financial Literacy workshops with individuals, organizations, as well as churches helping them become financially independent and literate individuals as part of the Country wide Financial Inclusion Plan to create financially stable and empowered Ugandans.

    She has gained experience to rapidly identify trends, system problems, formulate strategic plans, initiate change and implement new processes to bridge the gap between customer expectations and operational commitments. She is an AWEC (African Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative) Fellow, passionate about Women Advancement and maximizing her full potential so she can help others do so.     Everlyne Acheno is a member and champion of the prestigious African women in agribusiness network (AWAN-AFRIKA). She is the Founder and Executive Director of Evico Services Limited, an independent centre that facilitates Next generation Entrepreneurship that blends creativity, innovation, engineering, product design and leverages emerging technologies to evolve out of the box application in Africa.

    Everlyne supports the creation of wealth for smallholder farmers and value chain actors through technology, rural agricultural transformational skill and access to markets in Uganda and the Africa continent. Everlyne holds a Master in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship, Bachelors in Entrepreneurship and Small Business management from Makerere University School of Business. She has over 10 years’ experience in the implementation of development programs and projects focusing on Entrepreneurship development, agricultural value chain development, farm enterprise development, business linkage establishment, partnership development and integration.

    She has participated in different Entrepreneurship programs such as; Ignite Africa Program, Africa Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative (AWEC).     Ochuko Prudence Daniels is the Founder of Momahill Montessori School which is an authentic Montessori preschool and elementary school set up with the mission to serve the development needs of children within its community as well as to educate adults around them on how important it is to treat children right and to model the right life image to ensure total well-rounded children with problem-solving skills, technology/innovative skills, emotional intelligence and independence for better life adaption.

    She is also the Project Director/Partner at Rhudysplace Interior Design Limited, both in Lagos Nigeria which is a home and office makeover company which has recognised the importance of mental and emotional tranquillity as a catalyst for productivity in the work and home space. Rudysplace interiors is poised to create positive mental and physical ambiance to suit homes and offices for every individual or group seeking out beautiful spaces to enhance productivity.

    Prudence is a God lover and very passionate about national development, entrepreneurship and child development. She promotes women and youth entrepreneurship in her country through her RYE² Initiative where she and her team voluntarily trained over 2000 youths in 2017 under the Lagos State Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation. She serves as a business mentor with the Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ) Nigeria.

    She has participated in different Entrepreneurship programs such as; Ignite Africa Program, Africa Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative (AWEC).   • Eyiyemi Olivia Rogbinyin

    Eyiyemi Olivia Rogbinyin is a graduate of Architecture from the University of Jos with more than 25 years post experience in the fields of Architecture and Interior Design, Broadcasting as a Television and Radio presenter, Make-Overs and Dressmaking which she has a Passion for.

    Eyiyemi enjoys public speaking as a result of this she anchors social events and has participated in various Stage Plays directed by Bunmi Davies, Richard Mofe-Damijo and Kenneth Uphopho. Eyiyemi has also appeared in short movies produced and directed by Lillian Amah Aluko and Ego Boyo. As a naturally creative being, Eyiyemi has excelled in her various fields of endeavor. She tackles her goals with a passion borne out of a strong will to succeed at whatever she does. Eyiyemi’s stint in Broadcasting has made her a household name in the city of Lagos and the country of Nigeria as a whole. She currently runs Weekend Nigeria on Spirit of Nigeria Radio an online radio station based in Lagos every Saturday 9am to 2pm.

    Her passion for tailoring propelled her into setting up OLIVIA CONCEPT in the year 2000, which has now been re-branded EYIYEMI OLIVIA in the year 2012, where her expression for that unique style comes to life. She is fluent in spoken and written English and speaks Yoruba as a second language. Eyiyemi is married, she totally adores God, loves children, loves to sew, cook and eat, bake, read, garden and listen to music.

    Funto Boroffice

    Funto Boroffice is the founder/CEO of Chanja Datti Ltd, a waste collection & recycling social enterprise dedicated not only to transforming the waste in her environment to value, but also empowering unemployed women and youth by creating jobs for them along the waste management value chain. In the last 5+years, her organization has successfully diverted almost 4,000tonnes from uncontrolled landfill and empowered 250+ women and at-risk youth. Her organization currently has 200 full and part-time employees.

    Under her leadership, Chanja Datti was recently recognized as Top 100 2020 Global Recycling Heroes by the Global Recycling Foundation, was awarded the 2018 Presidential Standing Committee on Inventions and Innovations (PSCII) Award from Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Science and Technology for its innovative use of recycling pure water and nylon film into pellets. Chanja Datti also received the 2016 Energy Globe Award for Nigeria. The Energy Globe Award was founded by the Austrian energy pioneer Wolfgang Neumann and is one of today’s most prestigious environmental awards. Chanja Datti’s products have featured in several domestic and international exhibitions.

    She was selected to be part of the Nigerian delegation to the 2016 UN General Assembly event on Environment, and have spoken at the Global Citizen Event in New York and the World Circular Economy Forum in Finland, and have been featured on Deutsche Welle TV, Silverbird TV, NTA 5, This Day Newspaper, Tribune Newspaper, Punch Newspaper. Prior to starting Chanja Datti, she spent 3 years as a Senior Aide to Nigeria’s Honorable Minister of Power covering Investments, Finance & Donor Relations, and before that, 17 years gaining global financial, strategy and project improvement experience - 12 of which was as a GE executive in the U.S, where she was a Vice President, working in the largest GE Capital Americas business.

    She graduated with a Masters’ degree in Financial Management from Pace University’s Lubin School of Business in New York, and has a Bachelors’ degree in Accounting and Finance from Northeastern University in Boston where she graduated cum laude (with honors). She is a certified member of WEConnect International, a corporate led non-profit that helps to empower women business owners to succeed in global markets, an Associate member of Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ), a Nigerian NGO, an Executive committee member of Waste Management Society of Nigeria (WAMASON) FCT chapter, as well as a founding member and Vice President of the Recycling Association of Nigeria (RAN), founder of Initiative for the Advancement of Waste Management in Africa (aka W.A.S.T.E Africa), an NGO formed to be a leading source of innovative solutions and strong advocacy for a sustainable ecosystem of solid waste management in Nigeria and the African Continent, Advisory board member for The Skilled Women Initiative (TWINI), an NGO that provides vocational and tech skills to refugees, migrants and internally displaced people, a member of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ACCI), founding trustee of Edondo, a US based NGO that provides microloans to environmental projects in Sub Saharan Africa and most recently got appointed as a Board of Trustee member for African Circular Economy Network (ACEN) Nigeria, an NGO that seeks to deepen the knowledge of circular economy and support CE transition in Nigeria.
